Art and Gallery Events by Joy Connell

Seeing how my art connect with people inspires me and fills me with joy. After all, my paintings are a starting point for a conversation with the viewer about the natural world, and those that inhabit it.

My work focusses on realistic portrayals of landscapes, animals and people, moving into nature-inspired soothing abstracts based on Australian flora.

By blending colours, fine details and expressive techniques, each of my paintings portrays the inner emotions and personalities of my subjects and give depth to my work.
